SMC have provided Cleaning Services to a national cosmetic surgery group which has 20 hospitals and clinics across the UK for over 5 yrs. We provide Theatre, Clinic, Ward and Office Cleaning for our client, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. We also provide Care Quality Commission (CQC) Clinical Cleaning services in line with NHS standards which includes weekly auditing with CQC assessors on site ensuring CQC compliance.
During the Covid-19 pandemic this clients’ hospitals were seconded by the NHS to help manage the influx of Covid-19 and any non-Covid-19 patients.
SMC had to adapt in line with new Covid-19 Secure protocols provided by the NHS/ Public Health England for our services which included new schedules, inspections, and SLA’s. Due to the nature of the disease there was also an additional PPE requirement for staff, bi-daily temperature tests for staff and new auditing protocols in line with CQC and daily auditing requirements to ensure compliance in the epidemic. We are proud to be part of the support to the NHS during this national crisis.
