In 1982, we began as a family business as a Commercial Cleaning Company based in the Northwest of England serving the local area with general offices and industrial cleaning.
Today, we are still a family business but our services have grown in both number and geography. We are now a nationwide leading property services company providing facilities management, health, safety & environment compliance and of course Cleaning.
We pride ourselves on our ability to listen, brainstorm, plan, execute and quickly react to clients’ needs, providing bespoke and innovative solutions to their challenges so that they can concentrate on their own core business. This ability has been developed and honed over time and now runs through our company DNA and hence our employees.

In 2020, we changed our company name from SMC Premier Cleaning Limited to SMC Premier Group Limited to better reflect the services that we were carrying out; making the company easier to identify and easier to understand. We now have 3 main divisions covering Cleaning, Facilities Management and Compliance.
Our strategy is to maximise the opportunities for our clients to procure additional services from these 3 divisions which provides each client with less suppliers to manage, improved communication and working relationships, improved cost management, and known assurance of our standards of work and ethical standards. This in turn, will enhance both parties’ reputation, sustainability and business as a whole.
